1.0   AIM

The target of this paper is to obtain the approval from the university and parties concerned so we can held a paintball competition, which will be held on 3^rd December 2016 in Xtion Paintball Park, Bukit Jalil. This competition aims to develop teamwork and communication among the university student and the community.

2.0   BACKGROUND

Communication skills, critical thinking and teamwork are a few of many more skills that needed to help students to success in their studies and future career. It is important for the university student know how to have excellent soft skills so that they will be well prepared and experienced in future purposes such as working in a team of a certain company and to bring out positive products for individual and community.

Paintball is a sports that can be used to enhance ones skills. The game needs the team to organize their members before the game begin. The players need good communication and group strategies in order to win. Players need to read the field before the game starts, analyze on the distance the opponent can get to them, find ways to keep the team safe and think fast to make correct decision during the critical period.

In addition to that, Lock and Load program through the paintball game can also encourage participants to adopt active and healthy lifestyle. It is hope that the program will gain supports from UNITEN students, neighboring universities and schools.

3.0   OBJECTIVE

3.1  To build strong teamwork between the players

3.2  To practice planning a good strategy to complete a mission

3.3  To enhance the communication skills in order to project their idea effectively

3.4  To inculcate a strong sense of responsibility in every player that no role is too small

RULES & REGULATIONS

General

1. All participants must be at least 18 and below 75 years old to be allowed on the playing fields.

2. Only participants without any medical problems are allowed to play.

3. No shorts, sleeveless attires or slippers are allowed in the playing fields.

4. Players under the influence of drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited.

5. Betting of any kind is strictly prohibited.

6. No foods, drinks or pets allowed in the playing fields.

7. All payments must be completed before playing the game.
8. Your belongings are at your own risk.

Games rules

1. paintball safety mask must be wear in the playing field.

2. Never shoot a person who are not wearing safety attire.

3. Never shoot a referee or marshals or showing a neutrality symbol during games.

4. No player should shoot outside the perimeter of the playing fields.

5. Treat every marker as loaded

6. Never look down the gun barrel for whatever reasons.

7. The gun must be kept in safe mode before and after the game. The marker should be pointed to the ground.

8. No physical confrontation between players.

9. All players must obey referee.

10. Non player not allowed in the playing fields.

11. Players should display sportsmanship at all times.

5 Playing Fields

 Briefing Area

It will be  man limited paintball tournament. Each player will be given 50 paintballs per pax per game. There will be 8 groups and in each group will have 5teams. In each team consist of 5 team members. A total 40 teams. The preliminary round it will be a Random Round Robin format(min 2 games).Top2 teams from each group will proceed to the Quarter Final (QF) round. QF winner will proceed to Semi Final (SF) round. The SF winners will proceed to the Final round and the SF losers will proceed to the 3rd/4th placing playoff. It will be a Knock Out format for QF, SF, 3rd/4th playoff & Final. A total 48 games. The objective would be to capture the center flag. Upon capture of the flag the team will be declared as the winner of the match. Match time 5 minutes per match.
